Rundll.32exe and computer slowdown.
Yeah so i woke up to my computer this morning refusing to come out of hibernate. I left it on downloading and it auto installed an update for windows defender. now my computer is running very slow. This happens a 1-2 a month i usually roll it back a day or two and its fine. When it refuses to come out of hibernate it says no visual input and the monitor goes off, and the light on the computer stays orange when its usually blue.
This time i decided to see whats making it go so slow, im not that great with computers but i know enough to get me around.
It seems i have two rundll32.exe's running at the same time in my processes tab or task manager. Is this bad? one runs for 1074k and the other for 2348k.
also i've only just defragged and cleaned out my computer a few days ago,
I run a nightly scan at 10pm for virus's with AVG and besides what i download that stays on my computer for about 2-3 days then everything is moved and kept on two external hard drives.
specs are 3gb ram.
AMD phenom 9500 quad core processor 2.20 GHz
And i'm running Vista.
Anyone got any clue as to why the slow downs happen? or about the Rundll32's?
